Innovative Bottle Supplier....
M. Jacob & Sons has been an innovative bottle supplier for over 120
years. The history of M. Jacob & Sons began in 1882 when Max Jacob
immigrated to America and settled in Detroit. Three years later, he founded
a one-man bottle business: the M. Jacob Company. The company soon developed
a reputation for innovation and quality service. It was one of the first
companies in America to recycle bottles, and it provided products, services
and ideas to firms such as the Stroh Brewery Company.
Since 1885...
Since 1885, four generations of the Jacob family have worked in and managed
the company, which continues to grow. As Max's sons entered the business,
the name was changed to M. Jacob & Sons. In the 1950s, M. Jacob &
Sons was one of the first companies to introduce plastic bottles.
